Kisalaya Vidya Mandir was established on August 15, 1988 under Kisalaya Vidya Mandir Education at BIT Mesra. Beginning with 12 students in two rooms at Tanganjaya Hostel, the school has spent over three decades delivering community-centered, experience-based education.
Started in Tanganjaya Hostel in two rooms with 12 students. Mrs. Abha Panday served as the very first principal. Founder members: Dr. H. C. Pandey, Dr. C. B. Mishra, Prof. A. K. Agrawal, Mr. J. B. Saksena, and Dr. Rakesh Popli (Convenor).
From 1990 to 2006, the school operated behind Hostel No. 5 in four garages, cultivating its innovative P-MOT learning techniques under Principal Mrs. Rama Popli.
From 2007 till now, the school runs near B.I.T. Gate Mesra in a well-equipped infrastructure building, headed today by Principal Mrs. Suman Thakur.
